Jeff Rogyom practices as a tax, business, and estate planning attorney. Jeff advises clients on legal and tax issues relating to business transactions, start-ups, corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, business successions, estate planning, probate, and real estate. Jeff practices both federal and state tax law and assists individuals and businesses with tax audit defense, tax collections, and tax planning in the areas of income, corporate, partnership, sales and use, personal property, and estate taxes. When consulting clients, Jeff’s background allows him to consider their personal, business, and tax needs.
Jeff served on the board of directors of the Towson Chamber of Commerce and on the Towson Springfest Committee. In addition, Jeff served as the president of the Maryland Junior Chamber (the “Jaycees”) and as the president of the Towson Junior Chamber.
Jeff was born in New Orleans and practiced as an accountant before attending law school. He was admitted as a lawyer to the Louisiana State Bar and, following his move to Baltimore, was admitted to the Maryland State Bar and the District of Columbia Bar. Prior to Boston University School of Law, he graduated from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law, received his MBA from the University of New Orleans, and received a degree in finance from Louisiana State University. Jeff is a member of the Business, Tax, Trust & Estates, and Elder Law sections of the Maryland State Bar and is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court.
